International Correspondent Banking

Since 2001 UBS Investment Bank Plc has been developing correspondent banking, taking into consideration the ongoing changes in the European Union and on the international financial and foreign exchange (Forex) markets.

Due to the efforts of the international division UBS Investment Bank Plc established a positive image and is becoming known to European banks via personal meetings at international seminars, conferences and symposia, business meetings at our premises and regular communication on the phone and via email.

Our international division gained considerable expertise in syndications, trade finance transactions, financial statements analysis and international banking. It could also learn from international best practices, became more proficient in the preparation and delivery of presentations, organization of special events and meeting, etc.

Future Horizons

In the future our international division will continue to maintain its excellent business relationships with the partner banks and there will be some emphasis on international banking presence in the major European cities, where hundreds and thousands of Bulgarians work for international institutions and employers.
